We are delighted to report that four of our Young Athletes have recently received a Jack Petchey Award. This is a highly acclaimed award that is given to young individuals who have shown outstanding commitment or performance within the club. All winners were invited to a ceremony in July to receive their awards.

The winners were:

Joanna Miranda for her superb season of distance running and for qualifying for the London Mini Marathon which she completed in an impressive time.

Kolly Kanyako for his commitment and participation in a number of county events where he has successfully won a medal for sprinting

Keisha for her amazing performance at county level at both Hammer and Shot put where she became county champion. Keisha has trained hard and greatly improved this season

Zico Jones for his outstanding performances at both cross country and athletics. Zico frequently wins gold medals and got a club record for the Stag Mile.

Well done to all our Young Athletes who have won awards and to all the athletes who have participated this season.
