Introduction to running course

Would you like to get fit or try something new? Maybe you have thought about running, but don’t know where to start!

Look no further! This course is organised for people new to running or looking to get back into running. Friendly atmosphere with group leaders who will try and help you to reach your goal.

The course is free to anyone, all that’s required is your time, determination and enthusiasm (and a pair of trainers)!

When: Thursday’s 7pm starting 20th April, weekly until 13th July

Where: New Barnet Leisure Centre, Lawton Road, Barnet, EN4 9BS

Running is a great stress reliever and a great way to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, along with making new friends!

This is an introduction to running and there is no expectation that you will be able to complete 5k at the end of it although many past participants have. The course is adaptable to people’s level of fitness.

I hope to show you how enjoyable running can be and that this may be just the start of your running journey however far that may take you.
